Four Days?!
We all know our social batteries best, so please do not feel obliged to go beyond and decide for yourself! Please RSVP the events you would like to join us until 15th of January 2026.

Dress code:
The dress code for each event is on the events page. Please adhere to these dress codes and refrain from wearing white. Alex would love to see colourful ties on the wedding day.

What is the weather like this time of year?
It's officially summer in South Africa, get ready for warm and sunny days, but always add a thin layer as the evenings can cool down a bit or you might get a windy cool down late afternoons.

Gifts & Registry
For us, the greatest gift would be for you to attend our Four-day wedding, and therefore, we do not want to ask you to bring any gifts to South Africa. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Transportation
Getting around Cape Town and the Cape Winelands is both convenient and scenic. For exploring the city, rideshare services like Uber are widely available, reliable, and affordable. For wine-tasting tours, consider hiring a private driver or joining guided tours to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The roads are well-maintained, and with breathtaking landscapes at every turn, getting around becomes part of the adventure.

​Additionally, for the garden party and the wedding day, we are providing transportation for guests on their way back, ensuring everyone gets home safely after the celebrations.
Uber is also widely available and trusted.
